When you create an account on Kilig Factor, we collect information you provide directly, including your name, age, gender, location, photos, and profile details such as cultural background, values, and preferences. We also collect usage data including how you interact with profiles, messages you send, and features you use.
We use your information to: create and maintain your profile; match you with compatible users based on your preferences and values; provide personalized conversation starters and compatibility insights; detect and prevent fraud, scams, and abuse; improve our matching algorithms and user experience; send you notifications about matches, messages, and app updates.
Kilig Factor uses automated systems to analyze compatibility between users based on shared values, cultural background, personality traits, and preferences. These systems help generate match suggestions, compatibility scores, and conversation starters. You can update your profile information at any time to influence these recommendations.
We do not sell your personal information. Your profile information is visible to other authenticated users according to your visibility settings. We may share anonymized, aggregated data for analytics. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect safety.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use row-level security, encrypted connections, and secure authentication. Photos are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data.
You have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and all associated data; export your data; change your visibility settings; opt out of notifications. To exercise these rights, visit Settings in the app or contact us at privacy@kiligfactor.com.
We retain your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, all personal data including photos, messages, and profile information is permanently deleted within 30 days. Some anonymized data may be retained for analytics.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use third-party tracking cookies. We may use analytics tools to understand app usage patterns.
Kilig Factor is only available to users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we discover an underage user, their account will be immediately deleted.
Kilig Factor serves users worldwide. By using the app, you consent to the transfer of your data to servers located in the United States. We comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR for EU users and the Philippine Data Privacy Act.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
